We have owned this car since Dec-2000 with 65,000 original miles. I have all documentation from original bill of sell from dealership in Mo. to build sheet the maintenance records.
The original 307-with powerglide was pulled @ 65,000 miles
P/N 12499529 350/290hp New GM crate motor with the following items installed
P/N 12364050 GM Camshaft kit 350/350hp
P/N 12341093 Roller Timing Chain Kit
P/N 3965577 reconditioned Intake Manifold 350/350hp
P/N 14044872 oil pump
The Transmission is a Turbo 350 and was built by a local shop that races Sprint Cars. The only original part was just the case and the transmission can handle up to 450hp.
We kept the factory A/C, installed Power Brakes, installed an Eaton Posi into a 10-bolt with Yukon Axles. The rear suspension has new tubular trailing arm links with greasable urethane bushings, both upper and lower arms were replaced with a Hellwig Sway bar also installed. The rear springs are original GM as are the front. A Hellwig front sway bar was installed along with urethane control arm bushings.
Flow master 40 mufflers with cross over and 2.5 inch mandrel bent pipes complete the tone. Everything else is New-New-New.
