4/24/09- UPDATED pictures coming within a few weeks.  2 friends and myself will be doing a photo shoot (semi-professional) with our cars and I will be posting them up on here for your viewing pleasure.  Keep checking back over the next couple of weeks!

4/8/09- Nitto's are ON THE CAR!  New pictures of them are up.  Unfortunately, I can't get good pictures of the drag bags.  Not much to see, though.

NEW Nitto 275's on the rear.  Betty loves new rubber on the rear ;)

Just a closer look at the Nitto DR's.  Mmm.

Side profile. They fit pretty good on the stock rim.

This is what I felt like half way through the installation... HA!

Connector piece/clamps and the MAF, before I put on the intake.

Removing strut tower brace to put cables through that hold the intake on.  (NOTE: the next day, I got rid of these and used a clamp to fasten the intake on the throttle body.  I no longer use the cables.)

The final product on the bottom half.

With the filter on.  It can easily be taken on and off.  SERIAL # 5 is complete.  One of the first of this kind of intake.  Proud owner :)  Thanks MAHAN brothers!

i was looking at ur new mods and did i read right that you put 275w tires on the stock 17 inch rims? how does that work when they came with 245w?

Man I was in Cedar Falls for work the other day and saw a Torrid Red GTO. When I logged on here I saw your license plate and realized it was you. Were you in the car around highway 58 around 3ish in the afternoon?

I've been to the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. My girlfriend used to go to UNI and I would go visit her over the weekends. Do you ever go around campus? I remember seeing a red GTO around University Avenue, I wonder if it was you. Anyway, mods could be coming later. I'd like to wait until my warranty expires and then I'll consider headers, cam, heads, etc. After that a custom tune would be in order for sure.

Well I am from the Quad City area and the closest tuner is in Schaumburg, which I think is around the Chicago area. I don't have any mods yet, performance wise. The only thing that has been done to the car was they put the mufflers from the SAP kit.I've thought about doing more stuff to the car when my warranty runs out in 2 years. But right now the only thing I've done is the Holden bluetooth kit and the gauge pod on top of the dash.

What did you think of the superchips tune? Would you reccomend it?
