Rusty H/O #2 now apart during restoration. 185,000 miles. Started 9/2006 This is what we started with. This is a few minutes after He made the trip off the rollback.
The first 4 pictures the day I got Rusty home. Everything mostly in tact & nothing missing. Some parts as you can see are in the car. A big mess but not as bad as the pictures look! Me and my son started to remove parts before we moved it inside. Rusty isn't really that rusty as we get the body & all components striped off. Body mounts off awaiting body lift off! Engine on ground and tranny to my surprise all are original with the vin stamped on them!
Body off pictures ........
After several layers of paint stripper we took at it with a paint wheel. Man did that feel good on the back!!!
Seats are Recovered but they sat in the sun for a day or two to shrink and they look a lot better then they did in these pictures.

Hi Joe, I'm new to this site. I'm 41 and during my younger days I had about a dozen great Olds like this, when they were plentiful(1984-89)and cheap. I had 2 75 H/O's both W-30's,a 73H/O White exterior/Black interior with A/C and Digital Tach(by far my favorite)and 9 different 442's--3 75's a 76 and 3 77's plus a few Cutlass S with buckets/floorshift(1 75 and a 74 GMO) I either drove them into the ground and sold/traded them or in one case, crashed the car(75 442) I wish I had them now. I did keep the 73 H/O-it neded total restoration but I kept it into the early 90's before the city of Chicago nabbed it on me for being parked in one spot to long and I could not find my title to save my life, back then you had 14 days to bail out a car older than 1980 or it was crushed-I tried like hell to get the poundmaster to set it aside for me till I got a title but he would not-so it was crushed-I wanted to cry I swear. Joe-can you email me at:cj3520@comcast.net please-would like to talk to you off the message board. Thanks. Jeff
