This is what my ride looks now. I did everything on the car myself. I aquired the car about 6 years ago for $400 because it was totaled and since then I have pounded $7,000 into the car with cosmetiques and performace.

The fenders are the steel z3's because i didnt like the fitment or the look of the fiberglass ones i used to have.

The spoiler on this car is from a mid 90's Mustang. Fits and looks great with mild modification.

I molded the body kit myself with fiberglass.

I took every single piece of the dash out and painted it with Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastics. Then i clear coated them with a thin layer. Very tidious, but well worth the look. As for audio... I have an Alpine V-Drive 60WattX4 head unit with MB quart componet system in the front and Alpine 6"9"s in the back. I just recently amped my Alpine 6"9"s with a Mephis Power Reference amplifier. The system screams! I do not plan on getting subs because i dont want the added weight to the car. I am about performance here guys. Believe it or not but Neons can be a very fast car and stomp the shit outa other performace cars if it is built right.

I bought the 8k tack on ebay, and the seller rebuilds the insides and they work like new.

New Tail lights. Chrome Euros are tacky and for nooby highschool kids.

I put a newer engine from 98 neon in here, and i did a total rebuild consisting of...... New bearings all the way around, new rings, new oil pump, new water pump, you name it. Performance parts consist of...... Crane Cams Turbo Cam, I custom did the exhaust, but i am going to buy the ApexI N1 system very soon, throttle body spacer, 55mm 95 SOHC throttle body, cold air intake, i ported and pollished the head myself, new valve springs and retainers, Prothane motor mount inserts, MSD Ignition blaster coil pack, I left the piston with the stock bore. I am saving for MSD Ignition DIS-II system and the Hahn Racecraft stage 3 or 4 turbo. I also plan on the addition of the Indy Intake manifold for the car. Intake manifolds are one the most constrictive engine parts on the neon. The stock design is horrible and with the addition on the Indy, you will notice a hell of an increase in HP!!!! I have a friend that mod only and the car was consideribly faster than stock. I highly recomend the Indy Intake Manifold. Check it out at modernperformance.com

The stage 2 kit puts out nearly 250-275 hp at the crankshaft with a stock motor. I can only imagine what it will be like when I have it to compliment all of my other mods. The kit has the 16g turbo but i want the 20g turbo which will be 300-350 hp. With the 20g turbo, it will be a stage 3 kit. I am almost saved up for it! $3,400

The carbon fiber mods consist of- shift knob, gauge bezel, fuel door. I plan on adding a carbon fiber hood, more dash pieces, and a valve cover.

I'll tell ya you won't be disapointed with that Hahn stage 2. I dropped one into mine...and it's a whole new car. Unfortunatly i had all stock internals and compression and i now have a leak in my head gasket. Love the ride, check out mine too. Any questions ask away. 5 stars
