This is my custom 1986 Mercury Cougar LS convertible. The car was originally chopped by Car Craft Company in Lima, OH when the car was brand new---in fact, it was built AND converted in March of 1986. Confirmed records show that only 89 Cougars were made into convertibles by the company in 1986, so this is quite a rare and unique Cat. Since becoming the third owner of the vehicle in 1996 I've done quite a bit of customizing, as you can see. In fact, I really can't tell you of anything on the car that's stock, except for maybe the windshield!
Originally the car was Oxford White with a Canyon Red interior. In 2001 the car got new paint and an all-new interior. The top portion is still Oxford White, but the bottom is now Opal Frost (a 1995 Mustang GT color).
