This is what I started out with....
I had to tow it home because the rear-end was junk
So I gutted the interior, found an extra shell and went crazy with an idea to have an opened roof.... so I did it. I cut out the center of the shell...
My plan is to put newer bucket seats in the front, remove the rear bench seat- shorten the rear fender wells (width-wise), and run a console from the front to the back
here is a picture at the body shop "Royal Coach" in San Bernardino
I worked on this truck altogether with help from a close friend (Anthony Avila who works on pretty much anything and knows everybody in Southern California), we replaced the axles with corporate 10 bolt (front) and corporate 14 bolt (rear)- 8 lug 3/4 ton axles and installed a 10" Superlift kit (all suspension, no rear blocks), Pro Comp Shocks, 38x13.00x24 Kumho Road Venture MT tires and 24" Incubus Wheels. Had my driveshaft extended and had a constant velocity (provided by Eric Avila who works on Blazers for a living) added to assist without vibration issues.
I haven't seen another Blazer with a roof like this
Check out that billet mirror (thanks Anthony)
Yeah those are 24"
This is how I roll on GAMEDAY... ya dig
This picture was taken before it started snowing HEAVILY in beautiful SUNNY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.... anybody got chains???
This K5 has been gone through and will continue being changed to make it one of the tightest Blazers you have seen on the streets. I know what your thinking.... but you won't be using it to its potential.... so what. I live in Southern California. I am not in the Ozarks or Tornado Alley. Out here we roll on big wheels and wet paint. I don't get the "deer in the headlights" scenario to need a push bar on the front of my truck. It might get lucky and go to Glamis, but thats about it.
Have fun viewing what I got.... oh yeah....... Welcome to California.
Oh yeah... my interior is currently being worked on as well as the stereo.... so stay tuned.
