My last set of rims were pretty cool. I liked the clean, OEM look. They made my 4Runner look like it was nicer from the factory. I have been having a series of flat tires though, as my Goodyear Wrangler tires are just getting torn up and worn out. I've decided to get new tires, and in that, I've decided to upgrade to a 17" rim. I've had my eye on these babies since I had my first set of rims. My best friend's uncle has had them sitting for over 2 years. I finally got him down from $500 to $400, and now he let me snag them for $300. They're from a 2003 Tundra Stepside, which also is the same Imperial Jade Mica green. My old rims looked great, but these just look better.
They're paired with new BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO (265/70/17).

As much as I liked the Tacoma wheels I got in October, I'm pretty over them. My tires still have a ton of tread life left, so I decided to rely on the wonder that is craigslist.org and found another set of rims. I didn't go bigger or anything, still stuck to 16" so I could just swap my Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires over. I found a mint set of 2002 4Runner Limited rims that have not a scratch on them. Even the wheel weights were always the sticky kind so there's no marks or anything.
$150 was a good deal, I had to take it up. I went over to Anaheim and bought them from a nice guy named Tony. They look great, much better than the Tacoma wheels.
On October 6th, 2008, I was just checkin out craigslist.org like usual. I searched things like 4Runner, Toyota, etc... and I came across a set of 2004 Tacoma PreRunner 16" alloy wheels. They're nicer than stock '99 4Runner 15" aluminums, so I gave the dude $300 for the set. They were mounted on BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A tires (265/70r16). After the October 30th raping, I switched to Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. I sold these rims on craigslist.org with no tires for $150.
These are the wheels I got with the 4Runner. They're aluminum 15" 4Runner/Tacoma wheels with Hankook Dynamic tires (30x9.50R15). I sold them on craigslist.org for $400, including tires:
