The Solstice includes the Convenience, Power, and Premium packs and various options: carpeted floor mats, A/C (I'm not a Club Racer for God's sake. An A/C is nice to have with the humid weather in Florida.), 5-speed automatic transmission (My better half can't drive a manual, unless as she puts it, "It's a life or death situation."), Monsoon premium audio system with an AM/FM radio, 6 disc CD carousel, and MP3 player auxiliary input jack.

I would like to install a MAGNAFLOW catback exhaust system and a K&N air intake kit, but the Solstice is still under factory warranty and I'm afraid I may void it if I install aftermarket parts that aren't "approved" by General Motors. (I'm sure Pontiac would love to find a reason to void the warranty because it's had two minor mechanical problems to date, and it just has 14,000 miles. One: One of the trunk lid latch mechanisms doesn't release when the lid is opened with the remote fob. Two: Suspicious creaks and "whirs" come from the front suspension when the wheels are turned in either direction at low speeds. I'm sure there are a lot more that'll surface over time.

The Solstice came stock with 18" x 8" polished, 5-spoke aluminum rims (The same size rims as the rims on my Camaro!) that make the car look fierce.
