1969 Impala Sport Coupe which is a driver. Eventually, I plan to restore it to show condition but am currently enjoying driving it. The car has SS427 trim, whcih I added for looks but is a standard Sport Coupe. Though it looks quite nice and runs great, the paint has some mismatched areas that are a shade or two lighter htan the rest of the car. The body is sound overall.

I'd go for the 69 Impala if it doesn't need too much body work. Most of the body parts are not available even in reproduction form. The rear 1/4s are available but are of poor quality. They do not have the characteristic pontoon bulge around the wheel opening nor do they have the correct lower character line. The side light opening is actually for a 70, not a 69 so it would require work to fit the 69 side light in. The wheel opening moldings are also available in repro form but are incorrect for the fronts and don't fit well in the rear. If you make it more a custom and less an original, then you have more choices. By the way, nice lookin' Lincoln!
