both in looks and output. factory rating for this car was 145 hp. that has more than doubled since i began my work.
after going through two pairs of stock casting heads, we finally opted for some World Products Sportsman 2's. those worked great, but the engine itself was worn out, i could tell when i bought the car i wasn't the first one to have ridden her hard and put her away wet. it was time for a rebuild. i located a 4 bolt main block (high nickle too!) and we sent it off to be bored .030 over and to have the crank, rods, and pistons balanced. Then it was time to take the old one out
