A WORK IN PROGRESS!!!

Currently looks like:

1989 Nissan 240sx Hatchback

KA24DE swap
Lowered (cut springs)
Custom 2.5" exhaust

I bought the car from a guy I used to shoot pool with. When I got it it had so many problems with it. These are the problems that I had discovered:

No brakes to speak of, the pads in the rear were worn completely off the rotors and the calipers starting digging in.

The engine was far off timing and smoked.

The spark plugs were very old and leaky.

The wheels pulled hard to the right.

The hood was sanded white and then rattle canned with D.K on it.

Most of the interior pieces were missing bolts and screws.

The interior lighting didn't work.

The high beams didn't work.

The electric fan was not connected to a relay and had to be turned on manually by touching the hot wire to the positive terminal on the battery.

This is what the car looked like when I got it.

This is what I have done so far:

CLEANED THE INSIDE!! It was so nasty!!

And now

New Front calipers and brake pads

New rear brake pads and rotors

Painted the hood with some lacquer spray paint to hold me over until I paint the whole car

yea the KA-T does make more bottom end power but that means that it'll be easier to blow..lol not try'n to scare you but it does cost alot to build a KA and if you do boost it,id recommend not goin above 12 lbs (if built) and 5-7 (not built)..i had a hard time on deciding between a SR and a RB..BTW ,my buddy has a SR20DET RED TOP for sale $1,750 if you might know anyone interested
