Candystern33's 1992 Dodge Dynasty

and i already installed new front door speakers, using pictures and people directions from this site! so thank you guys.

today i was spending about 3 hours trying to install the radio, after about a half an hour i got everything working and i was all set to put everything back together!!.. then i had everything put back to normal and the radio wont work now!! If you guys have any idea what could have gone wrong it would be greatly appreciated.

I also have 2 10' 1000W subs and a pioneer radio 2 alpine 350w door speakers. 2 200w alpine rear speakers. A remote keyless entry sytem.

Everything i listed above is NOT installed besides the Pioneer deck and the 2 alpine front door speakers!!!

If you guys know any easy mods that i could do on my dynasty let me know!!

I am thinking about going to a junk yard tommorow to get some parts off of a old chrysler! If you know of any good parts tell me please!!

I am thinking about installing new front and back seats!! from a chrysler, what should i look for when i go hunting for new seats!!

ANYTHING YOU GUYS KNOW I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE!!!

I happen to have a brand new black carpet, still in the box for 88-97 dodge dynastys that i am going to be selling. If interested let me know. Only selling cause i was going to install in my grandmothers car but she went and traded it in before i got a chance to install it for her.

Hey man, I'm not sure about the EVIC - I never wired it up to work, just the interior lights. I think the overhead unit has to match the year and computer revision of your car, so it's hard to match up. Also, your car may not have an interface for it. The compass is built in but the thermometer will need to be installed, they are usually located on the radiators of New Yorkers/Fifth Avenues. Sorry I cant be more help, I sold my Dynasty 2 years ago - check out my 2005 Buick Lacrosse CXS! Peace buddy

Oh ok I understand that you cant get it powered up, you need both sides of the harness, the newyorker has 6 wires the dynasty has 3. you need to run 2 of the extra wires to the engine harness and tap into the black and white-black wires, the third gets grounded. every year new yorker was diffent colors for some reason, you need the year of that car and the diagrams for it and yours to match the colors. I used to have the info but not anymore.

So you got the evic eh, you should post some pics. for the direction and temp you need the module thats on that same newyorker behind the front grill, its a medium sized black box get it and the harness. It'll tell you the temp and direction as soon as you hook it up and it'll allow you to add all sorts of sensors like oil level and shit. get the vin off the donor car or check the glove box for the user manual to get the year and aquire a wire diagram to know what you can hook up.
