This Is My 1978 Dodge Aspen R/T Which I bought for a really good deal...25$!!! My dad hooked me up with a guy Who has rare and just plain Mopars Out in this field like the 1967 dodge charger that has a 383 with A/C. Including the Charger that has a Original 440 Six Pack. Even his Dodge Charger Daytona. He has a lot of hemi chargers and just a lot of awesome Mopars. The Aspen had Rot on both sides of the frame and The left quarter panel was almost rotted out.. I needed interior parts and more. When I found it it was in a mess of weeds and just sinkin in the ground and I knew it would be the coolest car to drive down the road in town. You don't see a lot and they didn't make much. The Engine Wasn't locked up or anything but the carb was gummed up from sittin in a field for 8 years. It was acually the only good thing on the car. When I looked in the trunk there was parts to a 440,some junk, and raccoon mess which I found the same thing in the car too.I found a really cool find searchin through and it a actual Mopar Stereo System and a chrysler imports patch But Pretty Much All The Floors Were Rusted Out. I needed a new dash and a new bumper. I did Buy Some Valve Covers from a swap meet out at the Roanoke Mopar Show in Roanoke,Illinois.I got a Edelbrock Street Master 318 manifold with a holley carb and a air cleaner. Thanks to my dads friend Mike, I just bought a Mopar Performance purple shaft cam for 50$.  Run nice with the Fuel injected heads on. Came off my dads old Ramcharger. Later on i discovered that the driverside was in a car collision or a patch panel from rust and someone put a  patch panel on the quarter panel with a lot of body filler.  Im currently parting it out. it needed too much work and money needed for it to be good. If anyone has a Question or wants to buy a part please ask or contact me in anyway. My e-mail is mopar_dude_511@yahoo.com. I now have a new hobbie of getting car ads so you can ask me for a price on one if youd like i would be happy to and if you have any old magazines from the 60's or 70's i would be delighted to use them.

Hey nice aspen I have one of my own. Its a 1978 Aspen R/T, with a 360. Bored 30 over, mopar performance purple cam, edlebrock intake, heads, and carb. But I was curious to know where I might be able to find some good parts for it, i'm lookin for weather stripping for the doors and t-tops if you could help me out i would really appreciate it. Also I was wondering if you could help me by giving me some tips on how i can get some more horsepower out of it without throwing a supercharger or something like that. thanks a lot -Derek
