HOMEMADE CAMPER TRAILER
Going to start building my own camper trailer. The tent part l will buy and the trailer l was going to build just build, but a mate had a cheap trailer for sale instead.
This is what it should look like (These pictures are of what lve found on the web).
Here are the build plans that l was going to do.
The tent has arrive
Started work on the trailer, starting with the frame work for the tent. The tent will be hinge, to allow entry to trailer.
The steal lm using is 25x25x2mm RHS
Started work on the kitchen
Made the frame from 30x30x2mm (old school table frames) and the rail setup is made from 50x50x3 and 20x20x3mm angle metal with stakeborad bearings.
Finish the painting and started the wood inserts.
Start drawer no.2
Drawer 2 will be the pantry
Working on the electrics
Heres the wiring setup
The main wires running from the car to the battery and then to the fuse box is all 8 gauge wire. The rest of the wires are 4mm.
Electric brake and shock setup
New brakes, shocks, hand brake, plus controller
Old setup
Clean up for new setup
Weld on new brakets
Backing plate on
Drum on and wheel
Controller setup in jeep, hard wired to battery thought a auto reset 25amp fuse.
