I want to start off my thanking you for stopping by my site, I am really new to cardomain. Here is how it all started off. When i was 16, i had a Mazda MX-3 GS, it had a little 1.8 V6.. yes a V6. it had like 140ish horsepower..i was going to swap in a KL-ZE which is the 200 horsepower 2.5 V6, but i wrecked it before i could do so... well it happens.

then my second car, was a 96 Civic EX, it was pretty nice, i had a full suspension set-up, cold air intake, cat back exhaust, headers, and a rim and tire package on it. I wasnt really planning on putting that much money into it... i sold that to one of my buddies but now it is gone. R.I.P.

In a search for finding a car, i was going to get another civic either an SI or a swapped, and i found one with the JDM B18C. I took it out for a spin and it was fast but i was a little unsure about it, because it wasnt inspected and the check engine light was on.. so i wasnt too settle with that. I then saw this car on the side of the road.

I have a 1986 300ZX turbo and i absolutely love it. i bought it in the summer of 2007, i put a couple grand into it since i bought it. i got it for 3,400 dollars and the body is in perfect condition, it was garage kept and i bought it from a 70 year old woman! :-) The car runs beautifully. I am sooo happy that i bought it.

INTERIOR PICTURES

Everything is fully working and the interior is in really good condition. The only thing is that the drivers seat is a little worn..but not even that badly.. you can see it one of of the pictures.

EXTERIOR PICTURES

I have the stock ground effects (1986 Turbo side skirts and front lip) The stock 1986 Turbo spoiler, and the stock 1986 Turbo 16x7 rims wrapped with 225/50/16 Nitto NT 450 performance tires. It is the original paint but the paint is still nice, but it has some chips in the front from driving back and forth to school (route 322 and route 80 suck). You can see this in the tire tread picture.

ENGINE PICTURES

Once i got the car, i replaced the timing belt and water pump, then i put a stage 3 ACT clutch in it, also replaced the starter, brakes, thermostat, new tires, and a couple wheel bearings. Thats all i can think of without looking it up. Now the car runs so strong. I have taken down SR20 240sx's, SRT-4's, GSX and GST eclipses, SI civic's, Vtec preludes, VR6 Jetta's, 1.8T jetta's.. and the list goes on and on. People dont think that the 22 year old motor still has its power... haha.

haha yea I have a very long list of things that I want to do for this thing... hopefully I can get most of it done this year but if not oh well I have time in the next years lol. That's some pretty healthy hp for a DD should make the drive to work and back fun haha, I'm gonna try and go for about 450rwhp this year as long as I can make sure the tranny will hold it and then hopefully in the future I can do a 6 speed swap to the tank V160 and not have to worry about the tranny going...ever.. lol. Can't wait to see the other ride man... I hope the weather clears up there!

Oh wow lol you have quite the bit of work ahead of you! I will be doing similar things.. I am installing a NA-T kit so turbo, FMIC, wideband, Greddy EManage Ultimate, bigger injectors 750cc, walbro fuel pump, replaceing stock seals in the entire motor, apexi turbo back exhaust, new head gasket and arp studs, new starter, alternator, rad, clutch, trd lsd, new brakes rotors and pads, hopefully paint this year, once that is done... lol then I will be redoing the whole interior like reupholster the seats, new carpet, cover dash, remove rear seats for weight, probably relocate battery, new pedals, shift knob, guages, shift boot... i think thats it but most of the interior little stuff may wait depending on time and money haha i think thats most of it.. I will have a build page up once I start it all tho...lol. What are your power goals for the mazda? it will be sweet to see once its done!
