Bought this 1972 beast for $1250.00! It kicks some serious butt and is an excellent project. She's currently a 318 carrying green machine and will be getting the best treatment for performance and looks! Check back often for updates! On page one I'll show the current status of things and page two future upgrades.

Progression shows Go Wing and air dam installation. Looks awesome!
And my most recent addition of 2" wheel spacers. These will be necessary to install new wheels very soon!
They fill out the wheel wells much nicer! The new wheels are 3" wider which should place the rubber right at the fender edge as it should be! It's evolution! Last pic has the new hood pins installed!
Even the valve caps are cool! Don't mind the dirt and grass, they add character.
The spacers came from ezaccessory.com they are priced by size, the 2" which is the biggest I saw ran about $200 with shipping.
A shot of the new stance from below. Also the new hood pins $30.00 reproduction Mopar style!
To install the pins where I wanted I had to relocate the hood supports just a little forward. Seen above is the center grille in black primer, shall be painted and customized soon!!
Here is the grille fully finished! I'm still working the headlight bezels but it's looking good so far! This paint scheme is inspired by the Barracuda of the same year. It has the central vertical pieces painted silver and the rest blacked out. I have new headlight bezels as both originals had some damage which prompted me to look for replacements. I have the RH bezel painted and placed in the car, not yet really installed. I am very pleased with the outcome! I found on Ebay a pair of NOS bezels for $88. I also have another RH NOS bezel if anyone is interested. Cosmetically it looks great but it is missing some of the gasket points on the back and one of the four screw mounts.
Check out the Doc Brown upgrade! Actually this is a shot of the new fog lights (black near the plate) and new driving lights! This should vastly improve night time visibility and not be too obvious as an add on externally at least. Once back on the ground the new lights will hide from sight pretty well.
The new red top really helped her with starting up. I bought this on the way home from buying the car and is well worth the price. If you have a Costco membership they run about 30 bucks cheaper than most autoparts stores that carry them.
Started coating the engine bay with POR15. Looking nice!!
After install of Holley Air Cleaner. This is a temporary addition until I can get my new motor installed.
The old fender trim was beat and I don't really like it anyhow. Dead trim above.
This picture shows the wheel well without trim. I like this look much better.
I pulled off the rear wheels to remove more chrome trim and decided to clean up the drums. I started by hitting them with a wire wheel on a drill to remove the loose rust and then applied rust converter which made them a nice black.
Now painted!! These should really pop when I've got the new wheels on! I"ll be painting the front calipers to match once I get my conversion kit.
This is a close up of the Dodge logo mud flaps I installed to replace the chrome metal style ones which came with the car.

I bought her a new present at Schucks. Not only does it look cool it feels way better when turning, no more school bus driver feel!
Old stuff coming out for new stuff to go in!
I've completed the acquisition of my new stereo equipment and am now preparing for the install. Dynamat is great but WOW is it pricey!

Just put in one door panel, looks awesome! Use a little imagination and this is a pretty awesome sneak preview of what is to come!

Trunk with fresh Dynamat!
Under the back seat! Or at least where it will be!

Hey lookie! Both seats are mounted!! And the center console is lookin' pretty sweet too!

Things are turning black! Back seat and glove box door are done. This is going to take a while!
The new custom built visors and headliner arrived! Soon to be installed!! I put the original hardware into the new visors. I also painted the original stuff to make the sliver much better, a little flake really makes it cool. I also removed the metal clips and reinstalled the original ones to make it a little more at home in the Coronet.
I recently cleaned up and repainted the rearview mirror bracket. The paint matches that which I used on the visors, looks great!
Disc brake swap underway!! This setup includes a power brake upgrade as well. Now I don't have to be afraid of driving fast. It was truly scary.
I found a replacement reverse lens and gasket assembly for the passenger side on Ebay for six bucks! The old one had a nice crack in it. The only lights that didn't work at purchase were the reverse lights. I bought new bulbs to fix the issue but discovered that the lens on the passenger side was cracked and was full of water. New bulbs and cleaning the contacts didn't produce light so more investigation will be needed!
