I just bought this thing at the begining of March. It will be a project to say the least. I bought it on ebay and drove 7 hours one way to pick it up. It was without front or rear glass, so we used a toter to tow it back. My original intention was to part it out, but after a lot of thinking I decided to rebuild.
As far as I've looked on it and fiddled around it should be on the road with about $1000-$1500. That's drivable and ready to go other than paint, which I'll do myself for about $250.
From what it looks like it need:
-Glass
-side mirror
-header panel
-y-pipe(leaks)
-mid-pipe(leaks)
-axle shaft
-passenger fender
And a BUNCH of body work.
both bumpers are messed up, but fixable. A tree fell of the RR of the roof, chattering the glass and leaving a nice headsized-half inch deep dent. The RR quarter needs some rust patching and a little Bondo.
Sound like a Lot, but I need my practice for school anyway, and I need a second ride.
