Figured we might as well pull the burnt motor out of the way for the engine compartment resto.

The clip will be coming back off in the "garage", but its easier to transport it complete.

Well here was the new addition to the car family, it was a 1973 oldsmobile delta 88 royale, obviously it had a burt out light or two and a past overheating problem, but shes cleanin up nicely!

the first fix was the trunk lid that they ripped open with a forklift, shuts good now!

the salvage yard I found it in beat it up a little, them bastards and their forklifts! they ripped the rad and gas tank out and sandwiched it between two more cars(door to door). They told me they were going to demo it that comming summer if no one bought it! Now how could I say no to that!?!

I have a 1968 olds 350 that needs a new home anyway, it was origionaly going in my hurst, but changed my mind to a 455!

But for now I found a running '78 olds 350 I can just drop in, the body needs the attention anyway! pictures soon.

The full set of the aluminum wheels that are on the back of the car now will be staying for a good while but someday, I know that they are not correct for this year car but i really think olds SS1's will look great on this car, maybe with redlines, I dont know why. What do you think?

Nice looking project, do you know where I can get some lower door panels for a reasonable price for my droptop?
