I'm helping a friend of mine build his truck. It's definetly a project.
We drove over 3 hours to pick this truck and to our surprise it was worst than expected. We new it did not run and that it needed some body work and had agreed on a $400 price tag, when we got there the surprise was the broken windshield. OK no biggie we sucked it up since we had rented a tow dolly and spent the gas money to get there.
A decent picture of her after some mild work and starightening the driver side fender.

Afterwards the nightmare began.
Broken windshield, AC duct work totally removed by previous owners crazy uncle, so I hear. dented front driver side fender, hood had been victim of engine fire a few years back. Hole big enough to stick a shoe in end corner of bed, interior totally smelled and still does of cigarretes gone wild. Interior filthy, both bumpers rusted, cowl rusted, grease and dirty oiled covered engine and transmission beyond help.
Well here are some of the pictures before and during our work to restore this b2200 ext cab.
Lovely bolts holding the exhaust fumes in there while we wait for $$ for a header, that just adds to the frankenstein look.

Weber upgrade on swaped engine and transmission is starting to bring hope to this project! Engine bay still dirty though.

These pictures are from when My friend first got his truck and thru the process of installing the engine from the parts truck purchased earlier.

This parts truck is where we got most of the parts to get Frankeinstein running again. The red truck was bought for $400 running, it had been in a wreck and the rear of the cab was pushed in by the bed after being hit. It came with no bed.

The parts truck and Frankenstein.

We had to remove all AC ducts from parts truck and install them on this one due to it being removed by previous owners Crazy uncle

We still have to transfer the AC compressor, dryer, evaporator, and lines.
Also we will be replacing rear glass for a solid one instead of the split window.
We have more work ahead and will keep updating.
