Ok, so im Cody and this is pretty much my car. it's a EK hatch (1997 civic DX), that i just got a little while ago in a trade for my 99 chevy silverado. this is my first tuner car and im lovin every bit of it. ok, so i guess ill go ahead and start with performance.

First of all, i ditched the D15 motor and went for a non-vtec b18 full swap (the old school Honda LS motor), which was built basically from the ground up, so it has almost no miles on it. then i took out all the unnecassary accessories - cc, ac, and ps. then i had a smaller radiator put in and moved off to the side, so after all of that, my car is totally primed for a turbo kit, which is eventually the setup i hope to have - the low-compresion ratio, with maybe some cams and valvetrain, is gonna make for one badass powerhouse once it's boosted. but anyway, back to what i actually have on the car right now. i have a short ram intake and DC sports filter. then the headers on the car are stock cast iron which sucks, but im probably going to replace them with stainless steel ones until i grab a turbo kit. and as far as my exhaust goes, its all totally custom piping with a Mugen twin-loop muffler on the end.

now for the wheels, tires and suspension. my EK is rockin a set of 17" Giovanna 5 spoke rims, wrapped in Toyo Proxes rubber. the rims were at little bit showy for my taste at frist, but theyve grown on me hardcore and now i love them. lol. i also have jdm adjustable coilovers that dropped the whole thing about an inch and a half to two inches. not slammed low, but between the coilovers and the Toyos, this thing deffinately grips the road.

Now for the exterior and interior mods. the exterior is completely stock except for the huge ass chrome wheels, lol, and a carbon fiber grill. its got its original red paint job, which unfortunatly now needs to be redone cuz some deusch-bags thought theyd be cool and fuck with my car for no apparent reason. its been keyed in some spots, and there are some minor dents and dings, but ill get all that taken care of soon enough.

the interior is one of my favorite parts. since the DX doesnt come stock with a tach, i put in a totally badass aftermarket one on the left hand corner of the dash that hits 10K rpms and has a shift light built in. then i had air:fuel and volts gauges installed, but theyve been custom fitted and molded into my dash, giving it a sweet jdm low-pro look. then i have a Skunk2 short throw shifter, and a set of two 10" sony xplod subs and amp, but unfortunately i cant use them yet because the little pioneer cd player that came in the car when i got it doesnt have enough power to push them. so thats about it for the interior for now, but i have plans to get a cd player with some more balls to get my subs kickin, some type of a weighted shift knob, possibly Momo, and thats probably gonna be it.

aside from the tach, and of course my unmistakable rims, im just wanting to leave my car pretty low-pro. mostly stock interior, and exterior, so theyll never see me coming. i know my car needs some minor body work, but i got a few friends to help me, Pat, who on here is patmonh22 (he drives an h22 cb7), Ryan, who doesnt have a profile on here yet, but he drives a EG hatch si, and Greg, xSmartx on here, who drives a mitsu mirage converted to an evo V.

so yeah, thats it. thanks for takin the time to read this, and check it my pics, and feel free to drop me a comment about likes, dislike, questions, suggestions, or whatever. thanks.
