THE CAR FORD SHOULD HAVE BUILT, 1993 MYSTIC COBRA CONVERTIBLE

This is where most of my money goes. It has been a two year project and is almost completely finished.
BRAND NEW MOTOR-Under the hood lies a D.S.S Pro bullet short block, 347 cu. In. Pro bullet stroker kit “painted pearl blue”, DSS main support girdle, SCATT 4340 crank, SCATT 4340 internals, Low compression D.S.S. 14 c.c. deep dish pistons, Stage II Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads ported and polished o-ringed, with copper head gaskets, Trick Flow hardened push rods, crane roller rockers, Ford Motorsport E-303 cam, Ford Motorsports GT-40 Intake ported and polished to match the heads. Vortech S-Trim supercharger running 8Lbs of boost, FMU blow off valve, timing retard control, 9 mm MSD wires, MSD ignition and a down pipe. Feeding the thirsty beast is a set of 36 Lbs fuel injectors, 76 mm C ang L mass air meter, 255lph in tank fuel pump, Vortex T-Rex inline fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator. To keep it cool on hot days is a Griffen radiator, Black magic electric fan. Exhaust is BBK shorty headers, Pacesetter 2 ½ in. H-Pipe, American Thunder cat back 3 chamber muffler with 3 in. chrome tips system is for LX not GT. Estimated horsepower is around 650 - 800 h.p. I want a very safe a reliable tune so I’m leaning toward 650 h.p. All parts on this car are capable of handling a 1000 H.P.

These pictures do not show you the real color of this car. It looks much better in person. This is personally my favorite Mustang of my four. It is DEADLY FAST, every time I step on the throttle it surprises me with its UNGODLY power. I have around $30,000 invested into this vehicle. If I were to rate this car I would rate it a 9 out of 10 just because the interior is not completely finished. After the interior is finished I would deff. rate this car a 10.

Exterior modifications are as listed: Cervini's complete ground effects kit, Cervini's mach I hood, Carbon fiber trunk painted to match the car, original 1993 Cobra wheels that were dipped in chrome, and MystiChrome paint that we added a few colors too. The paint color base is Blue, secondary color is green, and from there it turns dark and light Blue, dark and light Green, Teal, grey, dark and light Purple, and sometimes on a cloudy day almost a Black, mostly it just stays Blue, Green, and Purple. For lighting I used Blue Oval performance euro crystal cut headlight assembly which is not pictured in the photos posted. For the rear I installed Ford Motrsport 1993 OEM Cobra "SVO" tail lights. This is my second set the first set was cracked when my dad was pushing my car into the garage and tapped the air compressor. Blue halogen head lights and blue under body lighting kit from street performance.

OLD MOTOR-The motor in the picture was a 517 H.P./D.S.S. 306 with Keith Black pistons, Stage II Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads ported and polished o-ringed, with copper head gaskets, Trick Flow hardened push rods, crane roller rockers, Ford Motorsport E-303 cam, Ford Motorsports GT-40 Intake ported and polished to match the heads.

Transmission and drivetrain: Tremac TKO transmission, Lakewood bellhousing, Aluminum flywheel, RAM Stage II clutch, Steeda Tri-Ax short shifter, Steeda triple clutch quadrant, Steeda adjustable clutch cable, Ford Motorsport Aluminum Driveshaft, HPM Driveshaft safety loop, Auburn 3.73 gears.

Suspension and Brakes: Eibach 1 ½ in. lowering springs, KYB quad shocks, Maximum Motorsports adjustable Rear lower control arms, Steeda Subframe connectors, Steeda caster/camber plates, Energy suspension spring isolaters, Maximum Motorsports aluminum rack bushings, larger Ford Motorsport calipers, Larger Ford Motorsport rotors, steel front brake lines, Original 1993 Ford Motorsport OEM Cobra wheels I sent out to be dipped in chrome. Tires are 245/35/17 Yokohama AVS Sport upfront and 255/35/17 Yokohama AVS Sport located in the rear.

Interior: These pictures are around a year old at that time the interior wasn’t finished so some of the items listed aren’t installed on the car during the time of I took the pictures. Classic Designs Concept light bar wrapped in black leather, Custom convertible "black" boot to cover the ugly convertable top when I decide to put the top down, Corbeau AVS "Black" seats, Simpson "Blue" 5 point harness, I converted the interior to black with a black dashboard, Black center console, Black door panels, Carbon fiber dash and center console kit, Custom Cobra floor mats, OEM Carbon fiber shift knob with the Mustang logo "costs $250.00 from Ford", Carbon fiber shifter boot, Carbon fiber E-Brake handle, Blue interior light kit, Momo Jet Carbon fiber steering wheel, Steeda pedals, keeping me in touch with the cars vital signs are Autometer Carbon fiber gauges-oil pressure-fuel-boost-air flow-etc., Panasonic screen saver CD player 60x4 watt, 2x600 watt Rockford Fostgate amps, 3x12" in. JL Audio subwoofers sitting inside a custom box located directly behind the front seats. Powering all this equipment I located two cell top batteries in the rear. This comes in handy for the extra traction when needed.
