My newest car, a 1994 Chevy Caprice with the infamous 9c1 (police) package. It's got all the goodies: heavy duty brakes, suspension, cooling, alternator, wheels, and of course, the Corvette-based LT1 5.7 v8 (*insert Elwood Blues' voice here* and it's a model year before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas). The previous owner blew up the 4l60e and replaced it with a TH400 from a GMC pickup truck street machine. The other mods include 295-wide rear Firestone radials, a Corvette-style cold-air intake, and 2.5" mandrel-bent dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series and no cats. My plans include headers, a Hurst Quarter Stick, PCM tune, and the usual LT1 cheap/free mods: Throttle-body coolant bypass, LT4 knock module, etc.
