1990 Nissan Skyline R31 Executive

This is the latest car to join my garage. In reality it is going to be my replacement for my celica which is getting a bit tired. As you can see there is good contrast betweent he two from the picture.

4 Inch Lowered Rear end, King Springs. Rear is now level with the front.

Well I've had a chance to clean the car up a bit so I thought I'd update the pictures a bit. I've polished the car, blacked the rims, towbar, exhaust tip, as all were rust coloured before. Cleaned the plastics on the outside etc. Looks a fair bit neater now.

I've always had a thing for the lights on this model. They are just good looking lights. I'll have to do some upgrades bulb wise though. I like bright strong lights. Hmmm HID? Well the zed first but who knows. You can see how much cleaner the headlight looks without the protector cover on it and a good scrub.

I don't know if you can see it from these pics but that rear right quarter has been completely replaced. It was all smashed when the last owner bought the car. He cut a 1/4 out of another car and swapped them over. Not to bad a job I must say.

Well I just got some time to myself and I went out and started having a poke at the skyline. First thing I did was look at the skyline and see what was on the celica (except for the stereo for thats a whole day job) that the skyline could use. Grabbing a spare set of ultra white H4s from the shelf I wacked them in, ripped the LED parker lights and reverse lights out of the celica and but them in. Then I ditched the headlight covers and polished the glass. Looks nice even if I must say so myself.

Then I took some pictures of the lights at night just to see how they look. Hmm I'll have to change those dash lights to blue LEDS I think.

What next?

Well I've swapped the interior over but am missing little bits and pieces.
I need to get one of the recaros out for the zed yet.
The lights in the door trim need to be wired up.
Finally got my mini spool but I've yet to install it in the car.
Have to get some better wheels on it and wider ones. The cheese cutters are embarassing.
I'd like to get some strut braces, some uprated bushes and maybe the import grill.
Must finish doing its service. I've got half way through it. Need to change the radiator, belts, leads and dizzy cap.
Wish to add some lower down openings to the front bar. Its kind of plain and boring.
Wire up the power mirrors
Tint it.

After that who knows. Ideas?
