I made this panel to keep pasengers from kicking at the amp under my seat.
I added two 100 watt tweeters to bring the stereo up to GLT spec. The next project will probably be upgrading the door speakers and eventualy do the dash speakers as well.
I just bought a pair of 5 1/4" Pioneer TS-G1342R two-way speakers for the front doors. They can handle 140 watts each.
Here they are installed. The brackets didn't quite line up, but I dont think they will be getting bumped around a whole lot with the grilles back on. They really improved the sound quality over the stock one-way speakers. I can't wait to put these in the back doors too.
