I picked up my 86' Z28 for 350 dollars. I purchased it from a kid who picked it up as a project car and couldn't afford having it insured and the project. The original owner was a kid who couldn't handle the car and hit a guard rail and damaged the front left fender. The doors also sustained some damage over time and the original owner fixed it with bondo, which wasnt holding up. I recently picked up new doors, new header panel, new dash pad, and a new radio bezel. Right now its a stock 305 with a 700r4 trans and a after marked edelbrock 600cfm carb. I have a 4 bolt lt1 sitting out ready to go. Im switching out the heads, and the fuel intake manifold so i can run the carb on the lt1 and bypass the reverse flow cooling system. I also have a 353 posi rear, new edelbrock headers, and dual exhaust ready to go. Im also upgrading the suspension with a new panhard bar kyb agx shocks and sportline springs. Hopefully this summer i can get it out to the track. Pictures will go up when the project begins.
