What's up?
My name is Luke, and this is my 1982 280ZX N/A GL coupe. It's jet black with gold "rails" above the rocker panels. I am the car's second owner. I got the car when I was 18, and I'm 22 now. The front body kit was recently removed, but a new one will be taking its place soon. I've been in Iraq (US Marines) for the last few months, and it's got me bored to tears, so I wanted to get a Car Domain account to get involved with the online community and keep me motivated to continue working on the Z when I return.

Here's a few photos I scored via email. Needless to say, the car was stuck in the garage for these.

Here's the interior. The previous owner had the seats re-upholstered, and since I've owned the car, the center consel lid and carpet have been replaced, both the main kit and the rear deck due to normal wear and tear. Besides that, it's 100% original.

Some pictures of the car from the back. I'm planning to smoke the tail lights and side markers, but leave the back-up lights clear after polish. The hide-away exhaust is a hit-or-miss affair. Some people like it, some don't. I did it because I hadn't seen it done on a ZX, and I always liked it on later C3 Corvettes.

Here's a nice picture of the roof, which features the rarest item of all: a set of T-tops that doesn't leak. I've seen a lot of these epoxied shut, and I think it's a shame. A lot of people say they don't take these off regularly, but in my case, if it's sunny out, they're usually off. Also, another picture of the front end. It looks a bit off without the air dam, but once its replaced and the visual continuity is regained, it will look a lot better.

Here's a picture of a bit of the hood, along with my two suicide rides, a Honda ATC 250R, and an ATC 185. Along with Jarts, Freon, and robotic dolls that eat child fingers, ATCs make the list of baddest ass stuff the CPSC says we can't have. Pussies.

And here's an MS Paint picture I did in my spare time, of which there is a tremendous surplus.
