Roush Performance - Champion Edition
This is my 2006 Roush Stage 3 F150 Champion Edition that I have had for about a year and a half. I saw one of these up at Oshkosh '06 in the Roush display and asked about it. Well come to find out that it was a special run of just 17 of these trucks and they were being sold at one dealership (Benna Ford). Well didn't take long till I had one in the garage.
The truck is to commemorate Matt Kenseth's 2003 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Champion. The idea came from someone at Benna Ford in Superior, WI and once it got approved it didn't take long for them to produce the 17 trucks. They were put together in a rush so not one is the same and they are not serialized as a group (they are Roush serialized). I believe that there was a total of 3 trucks made like mine (info from Benna Ford), with the full four door and FX4 package.
Here is the dash where both Jack Roush and Matt Kenseth signed my truck at Oshkosh '07! It was parked at the Mooney display for about an hour while Kenseth was there, and where both signed the truck!
