1988 Plymouth Horizon 2.2l TBI

I picked this thing up for $250 from a car dealer that was going out of business. It was a bit much but my dad went for it, hes owned omni's and horizons in the past. So i have plans for this car i dont know what direction i want to go whether it be N/A or turbo but for now it's a matter of saving up and getting out of school.

But, i've decided it was destined i drive one of these. My mom bought one brand new in the 80's for her first new car purchase. My sister than got it for her car. My mom then bought and Omni from her old company Cablevision then, Time Warner now and we drove it well over 250k miles, then sold it 2 years ago for $350 in pretty much mint condtion. Now I have the Horizon i hope i can get it going good and running at least low 14's.

Only thing different from these pictures is all the color lights are blacked out, and the Hobox is now lowered.

Goals:

1. Get it painted up better nothing fancy - done
2. Wheels something decent 15's no bigger. - got 'em just need rubber
3. Engine work not too sure turbo looks most appealing, just a whole turbo drivetrain swap. - not yet
4. Get it running fast, ill be satisfied with low 14's but i know i could get more. - not yet

Nice ride. Its looking good. You need some rims on that sucker.(the caps don't cut it). Don't go over 15's, they don't look right with big rims. Paint the stocks black and put some beauty rings on.

TURBO THAT SUCKER! Youtube omnis and watch that fast little turbo car fly down the track. YOur car is so light its a rocket with a t2 motor in it! Drop a turbo motor, put a nice t2 or even turbonetics super 60 turbo, 3 inch exhaust, glhs electronics (you can buy that from front wheel drive performance) and you are good to go 14 if not way better. Good luck and check out my turbo cars sometime
