Unfortunately, I no longer own this car. I acquired it in early 2005, and subsequently sold it to my nephew. What a great deal...I got this car for $500!!!! I helped him replace the shocks and strut inserts (which were included with the car) and also the clutch (I had an extra clutch kit on the shelf that I sold him at cost), and that was pretty much it, aside from a good inside-n-out cleaning. These are the pix of the car when I acquired it from the PO:
In the pix above, note that the 15" spiderweb stle wheels are silver on the surface, but black on the inside of the spokes. This plus the "Pasha-style" upholstery is a dead give-away for a Weissach Special Edition. These were produced only in 1981. Unfortunately, there wasn't much special about 'em except for the Platinum Metallic (gold) paint, the wheels, and the upholstery! No performance mods or anything like that.
But still, this "WEISGUY" cleaned up pretty nice for our 2005 Memorial Day Water-Cooled Porsche Parade:
Not bad for $500 and a little elbow grease, eh?!
