Engine Management, Fuel Delivery & Instrumentation
The stock CIS (continuous injection system) is being replaced in favor of a DTAFast S60 Pro ECU, which will provide full blown engine management and electronic fuel injetion. I also had a custom fuel rail fabricated. I am planning to run Siemens Deka 660cc pencil-style injectors if I can find a supplier who will provide them in flow-matched sets. As you saw in the Body page, I am also running a Fuel Safe Enduro ED115 fuel cell, which has been specifically prepared to run E85. Yes, I will be converting to E85. Can anyone say "cheap race gas"?!? 110 octane rating from the pump, baby! And of course, the ECU will allow me to calibrate fuel delivery to accommodate the nuances of running high Ethanol concentrations. Pix of the fuel cell:
