"BIG PROPS TO JBA RACING"

3/31/09: Well, once again a snag has come up.  Once the MAF was installed the car would not start.  After jumping through hoops and many changes. A smoke test should a vacuum leak from the intake gasket. Well, that took the rest of the day, but in the end the gasket was replaced and the car started.  She goes on the Dyno in the morning and will be tuned up. Had some set backs, but JBA seems to be taking good care of me all around.

3/27/09: Stopped by JBA to check the status and saw that the computer and wiring is done.  JBA had to get a larger MAF and it arrived on Friday.  The mockup for the air intake good to go and they will finish Monday morning and run the Dyno in the afternoon.  I will finally get to see what she is capable of.

3/25/09: Cars at JBA Racing and the work begins in the morning.  I will be there Friday for the Full Throttle Dyno run.

3/23/09: Car goes in on Wednesday for conversion.  Once it is done, then I will post the Dyno runs (hopefully a before and after shot).  I still have to get to the header bolt.  Things have just been to busy around here.  The priority right now is getting the MAF done and then I will focus on the headers.  The other issue is, I dont want to pull the heads off (tricky I know).  Suggestions are welcomed.

2/19/09: Just got word from JBA Performance that my kit has arrived.  She's scheduled to get updated on 12 March 2009. More to follow.Another time delay.  Ecomony is not my friend right now.  I have to wait another two weeks to get things done.  This should be the final delay.

Just found that I have a stripped header bolt (Aluminum Heads).  I have to drill, tap and install HeliCoils in this weekend (more fun).

2/12/09: Slight delay, since the wiring harness is on backorder.

I just ordered the Mass Air Conversion Kit (should be here Feb 4, 2009). Right now, the Bullet is speed density which does not help the overall running.

Once the Kit is installed, it will be tuned to run better.
