Ive owned my STS for a little over a year now and I love it. So far I have not had any major machanical problems with it and hope it continues this way for a while. The only down side is the gas prices in southern California.

I have not made any engine modifications. I might eventually come up with something after researching, but its not a priority. Car has all the power I need when I need it. I hardly push it. I drive it like a Lac.

Audio:
"Sometimes we find peace in beats and breaks
Put the bang in the back so the seats can shake
Rebel Cadillac music for the peoples sake"
- Common

Right now I have my friends old subs. He got himself all Memphis and sold me his old amp and subs.
Currently:
Stock Bose radio and speakers.
-2 12" Audiobahn AW125t subs
-Blitz Audio 1400 Watt amp.

I am in the proces of purchasing a JBL system with a Panasonic touch screen. Im going to set up 5.1 DTS sound by having a center channle, component sytems in the front and 2-ways in the back.
I have the screen, wiring harness and the amp. all I have to purchase are the speakers.

The new system:
-Panasonic CQ-VD6505U
-JBL p650c component
-JBL p652 2-way
-JBL GTO504 4 channle amp

When I get extra cash I plan on replacing the Blitz amp and my subs to JBL.

Here are som pictures of the install.

Looks like a good audio install, I just got a cadillac after my aurora got totaled, and I'm moving some of the stero components to this car. ANyways, I could use some information from somebody who has actually done an install. Like are you using the factory amplifier, did you have to get one of those specialty harness, does your door chime work ect. Thanks.
