O.K. I know Im gonna hear it for this, but here it is...
This is my new project for 2008,( I started framing it last year, then stopped ) after my fiero is finished of coarse, a 1975 pinto runabout I picked up in arizona, now with a CHEVY, yes CHEVY 350 4 bolt with a t-5 manual and 9" with a 411.1 rear gear instead of the 2.3 four banger.
What's that?... blasphemy? ...or real f#cking sick ?
I prefer to back the second response... lol

here's some pics of my new " project ".... hmmmmm

..... very interesting huh? remember its a newborn, they are always ugly, lmao.
My future plans include a motown race block with 400 bores and 350 mains to make a 377 destroke with motown 220 heads topped off by a 10.71 blower with a holley 950 commander ecu pushing twin 850 cfm holley TBI units and a dirrect port N.O.S. system.
I will hopefully make about 1400 H.P. on pump gas, 94 of coarse, which is why I am framing the car with 2" x 2"x 3/16 wall mild steel tube as pinto's were not meant for this shit...lol

It will be caged as well, but I might not tub it, I was going to put the big tires on it but go for the 70's look with the red shackles and slapper bars, then slam the front of it so it looks like a rat fink ride with the chrome skull shifter on a truck shifter arm so its way high up. and paint it flat black with a clear coat and make evrthing else red ( the devil ).
I have an old coyote tail I was going to put on the antenna and possibly do the old hot rod white walls so it has the 50's retro look...like a rat rod

I think I will name her .... " the devil's chariot "
Check back and watch the progress...Thanx for looking.

Dude, that's how to do it. GM power plants all the way. I myself like the looks of a pinto although the stock ford motors in them kinda suck. Nice idea, 5 stars! keep us posted on any updates.

I like the idea of a Pinto project car of course but ditch the Chevy engine. You don't want something thats just going to blow up the first time you start it do ya? =]

Hey I don't care what anyone might say I love seeing something unorthodox like this. Good luck with the project.
