03/1995-Built 07/1996-Registered RHD 740iL completely rebuilt and transformed to a 2001 in and out in 07/2007 for $10,000! Crazy? Who isn't? ;)

Now it is a freaking BRAND NEW flawless ultimate driving machine.

This is my second e38 after ditching the 1995 740i in 2004 in California. Who would own the same car twice??? Well, only e38 owners do ;)

It's obvious that the Thai people look after their cars much better than those in SoCal, not to mention the freaking hot and dry sunny weather there!

- 19" rims with 245/45/19 in front (just scraping the wheel well fender perfectly :-) Any wider would make a U-turn impossible)and 275/40/19 in rear

- On-the-move TV + DVD on Original 4:3 screen

- Backup RV Cam with Override switch to turn it on at will

- Carbon Fiber BMW roundel emblems, front and back

- ASC electric shocks ditched for future peace of mind and regular BMW shocks adopted with equally smooth ride

- Jet Black repaint in and out (engine removed of course)

- All new Beige leather upholstery interior (Doors and Seats)

- All suspension parts replaced (Springs and Shocks were not enough after all)

- Quad Exhaust with bumper cut out after 4 different mufflers (factory, 12" straight glass, 15" straight glass, and finally Flowmaster Delta50 942450 that sets off all parked car alarms when passing by)

Every single item that originally came with the car 12 years ago still works perfectly like brand new today even the intrument panel pixels (KNOCK ON WOOD).

This car has seen the sun for less than 100 hours a year since new.

I guess it's time for other people to see it outside of its lair from now on. *grin*
