UPDATE: Oct 14 2009,

Havent checked this thing in a while, the SL2's Windsheild needs replacing and it needs a new radiator. Pics coming tommorow, not that anyone cares. If your looking for a Parts car and you are in the Area (150miles.) Im trying to sell it, SL2 Runs and Travels, still got the DOHC, no-turbo. 114kmiles. Looking for $400 obo, Mechanics Special.

O.K. I've seen some sick modified Saturns on here, some of them are freaking show quality and very well done. I wanted you all to see mine. Its my second Saturn, the first being a SL1 of the same year, and I believe I am on the right track here. Pictures are soon to come as well as walk-throughs of how I did these things so that your average Saturn owner can follow and put their own twist on it.

This is mah car...

GhostLogic's 1993 Saturn SL-Series

I'll start by explaining I guess.
I bought this car from a 67 year old man who used it to pick up his mail a block from his house... It had 85k miles on it when I bought it and it screamed to be dogged... The first couple of weeks I had it the damn thing would blow carbon build-up out like it was sneezing. And I quickly found that it wasn't as fast as I had hoped... 0-60 in 7 sec (Automatic BTW) :(
But I didn't buy it to be fast I bought it to get me around...

The Exterior is Stock for now, and will remain stock except for a Saturn Spoiler stolen off of a car that had one... and a Black repaint.

The Interior is Color changed. The fabric on the Door panels has been recovered black the center console has too, (Halloween costume-like fabric). The trim around the stereo and Air controls has been painted black, the fuse panel cover and the panel mirroring it have been painted black. The plastic speaker covers are black, the rear speaker covers are covered in the black fabric. *Update* Now the Back Deck has been covered in black, making it so you cant even see what speakers I have in the car. And also now the rear seat Side Cushions are recovered. (they look really good) *will post pics as soon as I find my damn camera.

You have some cool ideas on future plans. I was thinking about a body kit however, Ohio winter is damaging on a body kit around here. So unsure if its worth the trouble. Also you are correct on rims and curbs. I have $1,200 in my wheels and you wouldn't ever catch me in a drive-thru do to high curbs. LOL Anyways, keep up the great ideas. Your car looks great. If you get a chance check out my Saturn SL Thanks

Thanks for the trunk flip guide! I've been wondering if it would be worth installing one and now I think I'll go for it. Too bad it's not a 5spd...you can switch those out w/out too much work though.

thanks for the comment. really the entire turbo kit was made by me. the manifold is a stock cast unit that was cut and welded to mount the turbo above the cross member along with fitting it with a wastegate and turbo from an audi. i/c came from ebay along with the bov. all i/c pipes were test fit cut and wleded to fit. along with a custom pie cute down pipe. you should check out www.plastikracing.net, sixthsphere.com and you can find a bunch more info re turbo/super/n2o and more.
