This is my 1973 Electra 225, my dream car, well not really, more info below. I have the original Buick 455 4bbl with 96,000 miles, sorry haven't had time to take any pics of the engine, as soon as I had it painted, it was shipped to NC and I had to deploy.

I am considering rebuilding the engine, but I am not sure if I want to keep it. When I bought this car it was John Deer green as you can see from the pictures.

I put it in the shop and had it painted pearl white with a green tint in the paint to match the interior. Speaking of the interior, I had it re-done also, I went with velour, originally it was vinyl.

I also had a new vinyl top put on it and both front and rear bumpers re-chromed, pretty much I completely restored the body.

It's definately a head turner as is, without rims.

I currently have it insured through Haggerty Insurance, they appraised it at $13,000. I bought my 73 in Michigan and anybody that lives up north knows how hard it is to find a classic with a body that's in good condition. I could not find a 69 so I settled for a 70's model. Now here's the deal I am willing to let this baby go to anyone willing to trade with me for a 1969 Electra Limited four door, which is what I really want, with a 430 or a 455, like the brown one below. Anybody interested in this offer let me know.
