So far I put 3" pipes on, took out the resanator, and put a Injen muffler on it. It sounds mean but other than that & lots of little things the car is pretty much mechanicaly stock.

I've had to put on an ehaust gasket and valve cover gaskets. I've done all the work on the car myself and know enough that I can manage to work on it, but if you know any ways for me to get started on getting more horsepower please let me know. I've been told putting a bigger down pipe on can increase the power, it's a turbo so I can pull some horsepower out of it pretty easy. All you supra guys please help me out on this.
Thanks for the time

Very clean Supra! I saw your post on JT2MA71's site... that guy is something else lol, incredible stuff. Yes, the downpipe will help loads, just make sure you replace the turbo elbow as well as it is very restrictive. Also, 550cc injectors coupled with a Lexus V8 AFM is a popular way to get around fuel cut, which restricts the stock setup from boosting more than ~12psi. Manual boost controllers are dirt cheap and a easy way to up the power as well. Also, if your running a stock head gasket then I would highly recommend doing some preventative maintenance first because they often the weakest link with MKIIIs. Good luck with the car!

Sick looking Supra!

Thanks for checking out my '72! I just have a soft spot for that body style of truck.

Since you're working on your dad's old truck, then be sure to check out 67-72chevytrucks.com. The board is filled with tons of information, parts, trucks, and other people that share the same sickness, classictruckitis. Just be sure to tell them 72blckbuty sent ya!
