Here you can see my 1998 Nissan Maxima SE. Right after getting the car I started planning the stereo sytem. The OEM bose system was just not good enough. First I had some OZ 17" wheels and a Eibach lowering kit put on. The original 16" wheels and the high stand was not for me. Then I tinted the windows to 35% wich is on the border of beeing legal here in Canada.
A DEI Python aftermarket alarm system was installed to protect the goodies. At the same time a remote starter was installed to make the cold days in Montreal a little easier to live with.
A set of clear corners from Stillen have been installed.First the battery was replaced with a optima yellow top to be able to handle the power demands.
The PPI PEQ 114 has been replaced by a PPI PAR 245.
The signals then end up at the PPI PC4100 amplifier that is powering the system.
The front speakers are a 3-way kit from OZ Audio. The mids and tweeters are mounted in custom made kickpanels and the midbases are in the factory location in the doors. The trunk has been remodeled and now some of the panels are painted the same color as the car. The install is highlighted with neon around the cap, power distribution and subbox. You can really see it at night. The neon is shining through plexiglass panels.I just installed a Place Racing CAI and I like it. The installation was real easy and the sound is pretty cool at full throttle, loud.
Other new things just being installed is a Sony PS2 and clarion 7" wide screens in the headrests. Pictures to come later.
