well it was time to test fit the 401 so we could figure out were our motor mounts needed to be the mounts we made out of the original ones on the wagoneer we chopped them down renforced them and bolted those puppys up worked out great

last fit and time to wire it up this is were things got to be a bitch the stock wireing for a 88 yj is already a mess we tried for a week to get it to work in the end we went with a painless kit for a cj 401 convertion another two weeks went by tangled in wire and shrink wrap...... after we fixed some ignition bugs in went an MSD kit and we fit the stock manifolds for the time being

well here she is this was taken right after we got it back on the road still have a long way to go but it is coming along nicely

the motor mounts have been redone I lowerd the motor 7 in to clear the new 205 this solved alot of problems I was running into

Nice Jeep. I have a CJ that I have been building up for the past 4 years. Nothing beats a well built JEEP! If you get a chance,..check it out and let me know what you think. Keep up the good work and have fun!
