   the transmission combo we picked was the np435 bolted to a np208 this is a great trany it is based off the borg warner t-18 and retains that grany first gear it was a good choise becouse AMC made a universal bellhousing throughout some years not to easy to find thanks ebay after we called novak convertions we got a rebuild for it just in case after that it was then primed and prepped for paint

                              this is the new np205 with a flange kit I had problems with driveshaft angles on the np208 it had to go with the 205 I saved about 4in I also had to get a 1ton cv driveshaft with a flange it worked out great and has very little to no vibration

THAT'S A TOUGH SET UP YA GOT THERE I'M GOING WITH THE 435 TOO I PUT ONE IN A 75 BRONCO I USED TO HAVE AND LOVED IT ONLY GRIPE I HAVE WITH IT IS YOU CAN'T GO FROM FIRST TO REVERSE TO EASY IN A HOLE. BUT OH WELL THEIR TOUGH THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS I'M PUSSING OUT AND GOING 350 LOL 5*
