here is my old TT for those of you who would still like to see it.
now some of you may be wondering, Why is it called an RS TT, well let me explain.
After seeing The BulleTT after doing some extensive searching (see pics of the BulleTT below) i decided to begin my quest of finding a salvaged S4 or euro RS4 so i could have the 2.7T biturbo motor, along with using the 6 speed tranny, rear end, computer and wiring also.
If anybody knows where i could get a salvaged S4 or euro RS4 please contact me.
I also plan to do some cosmetic work to the car, including a new paint scheme (not sure what yet), audi RS6 9 spoke 18" wheels with 265 rubber (wheel wells are going to be widened, possibly making this the first "widebody" TT).
When a motor is tracked down i will keep progress posted, at which the engine and tranny will go through a build period at which the block will be machined, the bore will be increased along with the stroke, resulting in a square bore/stroke similar to a BMW. The block will also be sleaved and cryoed. I am researching internal parts right now, so if any of you audi tuners have any input let me know.
Couple pictures of the car itself. These were taken in "my" shop that i work at and co own with my father. I had just installed my rear crossbar. (pics of crossbar on page 3)
here is the rear crossbar i built, i'm no longer going to use it though.
I begun the installation of the amplifier and speakers, along with the deck, here are some pics of how it is so far.
