After the intake came the car audio. Well, that's not totally true. The first thing I did was buy a new stereo and install it, but that's because the original one didn't work. I found out after removing it, someone used the cassette slot as a change holder. I recovered over $5 in change from it. I put 6.5" Alpine SPS-17C2's in the front doors, and B-pillar. Dynamat was used as well. The original door speakers were crap paper, so they had to go. They also sat in a bizarre bracket that didn't allow for new speakers to be put in. Luckly, Crutchfield's made a bracket especially for the Rav4 that you get free with the speakers.
Original bracket and new brackets and speakers:
Later came the 12" MTX sub and Infinity 311a amp. It thumps pretty good in a car this size. This setup is temporary. I have a second sub waiting to go in, and another more powerful amp.
UPDATED MAY 25, 2008.
The new system in in. Stinger 4 ga. wire throughout, custom built mdf box with 2 12" MTX subs in it powered by the Infinity 611a sub. About 650W of power, which is alot in a car the size of a shoe.
