A word:
Contrary to popular belief, the Grand-Marquis is a car not to be made fun of. Although it does have its shares of lows, this Merc will not let it's passengers down. I got this car 2 years ago and wasn't expecting something like this. I basically bought the car because it was in top shape (never saw a winter, no rust, new brakes, tires, oil, safety test, low clicks (120K)...etc.) and it was to be sold just to make some room on the lot, but gradually I fell in love with it.
This picture was taken the first day I got it, visually in ruff shape but she was mint inside. she came a long way.
It's sitting on blocks for now since the insurance cost is too much to handle while I'm at school, but as soon as summer arrives and I'm done University for the year I'll get her out. Last summer I travelled to Halifax (from Ottawa) and didn't have any problems with her, even though I was cruzing at 160 most of the way.
This car is smooth, comfortable, stylish, roomy, and it's a type of car that is rarely seen to be modified these days. I’d love to see a few Grand-Marquis pushing around Ottawa and getting together, I love the Honda’s and Chevy’s or what not, but they’re too common for my taste. Small things really made me fall for it, like the 4 disk brakes for example, or the digital display with the temperature/km to miles switch button/ how many gallons of gas left/ km left to empty. I'll be updating the pictures as I go. This is what I got so far, most of these pictures are from last summer and last year. enjoy.

Mods to make:
- second coat of black: I've got it painted by a friend, but it needs a second coat to look better, and I have chosen the flat (not shinny) black, since it's so nice on these cars, especially with the tint. It's gangster, simple, sleek, and looks brutal!
- Flowmaster: I've been checking around for the best sound I could get and so far I've come up with the super 40, it'll do the trick for the less spending.
- interior led lighting: I have so many idea's with lights in the cockpit, mostly blue (since it's my theme) and maybe some black lights. Leds are by far the best choise, I've already replaced my licence plate lights with some crisp white leds. here is an amazing site to check out:

- New subs: looking at 15's and a better amp, but that's for later.
- and of course, RIMS: still searching, it's not in my budget but that the only major thing my car needs.
