This is my baby. I got it back about 8 years after I sold it to my friend, and I plan on doing big things with it. Of course I couldn't do any of this without my dad, who is my welder, fabricator, body man and co-designer. It will definitely be a show truck... some day.
Also, so you don't get confused, in general, the pictures are in reverse order. With the newest ones being first and the oldest being last. Hope you like my truck.
This is just a couple pictures to update. Haven't really done much with it recently, my dad and I have been working a lot. Recently we bodydropped the cab 2 1/4". Going to get the bed done next time.

Not sure if you can tell, but the front fender well is actually sitting on the tire and preventing the truck from going lower. We'll have to trim it a little more.

It's basically sitting on the frame with stock wheels and tires. Next step is to get some 20" wheels and tires and then body drop.

Here are a couple views of the suspension setup as it is now. Still have to paint the M's.

"M" is for Mazda!

This is how my rear will go up and down. As the bag inflates, it pushes up on the one side of the "M" and that pushes down on the other side, which happens to be connected to the axle.

I really like the rear setup. It was a combination of me and my dad's ideas and my dad's engineering and welding skills. Eventually it will all be either painted or chromed or both.

This is the rear setup. Still a work in progress. Got the four link set up, just working on the cantilever setup for the bags.

Picture of the front passenger airbag compressed.

Picture of the airbag inflated. The control arms are stock, but the upper was raised and notched. The lower ball was flipped. The bag mounts were reinforced and gusseted.

Another picture of the front bag inflated. Shouldn't be much negative camber at all when laid out and should be straight up and down about four inches off the ground, where i'll be driving it. These are also the stock wheels and tires. Planning on doing 225/40-18's.

Definitely laid out. We were planning on doing a body drop, but considering this is our first project, we will probably just make do with some custom fabricated and molded ground effects to have the body on the pavement. Gotta start somewhere.

Planning on doing a custom front clip with molded in headlights swapped from some car or truck that I haven't decided on yet. Can't do what other people are doing.

Working on smoothing out the bed.

The bed as of right now. Got the three-color led lights for it just waiting to be installed. Then we should be putting the gas filler behind the liscence plate.

Another angle of the bed. Lots of work to get the body lines to match up right.
