This is my 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST 5-sp w/ the renowned 4G63T i4 2.0L turbocharged engine. I purchased this car during my 2nd year 2nd semester of college as a "college graduation" project where, at the same time, it became a "Father&Son" project. It was a tough call since it was only months after selling my first Mitsubishi - 3000GT . I've always been fond of these DSMs and now have the opportunity to work with one. My goal is to maintain, modify, and rebuild her into a unique, yet clean daily driveable street car. Hopefully at the end of the road, she'll be pushing 250whp of daily goodness w/ the potential for more!
Through the paths of my Suzuki Aerio S, Mitsubishi 3000GT, and daily Ford Escort LX have I become quite the enlightened DIY-er. Not to mention, my dad's three years of mechanical schooling through his G.I. Bill has had an immense influencing effect on my newfound love and passion for cars. Not even rising gas prices can put out this burning fire!
