Im gonna throw in a few pictures of truck just for S&G first. Pictured here first is the Skid Plate for my rear diff and my Idler brace, also in photo is a portion of my Blackflow oil protect vavle. I mounted my relocated filter higher than stock so I got a flow valve to keep oil in the upper line....Yeah Im thrilled... you too huh?

Im gonna try to do the stereo thing which was going for DVD but Im back to the SQ thing dont have the FInances now for the Monitor and to ge the Cables needed....I think I will be able to have this project LAST a LONG time that way...I will never be satisfied with it so I might as well do something that will never end ,,Heck Its a hobby. OK Now well heres the deal.

I know Im no audiophile or my setup wouldnt be so *ghetto* I know that anyone can get products, but its the INSTALL that makes it so damn fine...Well Im very ghetto right now...the whole truck is a project in motion. I have a few things going on all at once in truck, Wiring and placement of Products, install of amps and moving around of products again, and then again I wouldnt be making things Harder than they needed to be if I Just DREW pictures first,,,I am a draftsman (cadd)...I didnt Plan on going DVD so I want to incorporate all the stuff I ended up getting into the SQ ride I was trying to do in the first place.

I need a monitor to finish up before the install comences. the follow pic was done in about 10 minutes using MGI photosuite. so it reeeeeally sux.

I drive this everyday so tearing out the dash and the Doors and carpet is a NO GO at this station. ..

I also want to apologize because I have too manhy amps for too many speakers...OHHH GGGEEEZ di i just say that...please I am sorry.,.. what I meant to say is...I have amps and speakers ina platform that I just dont know which setting to use,,,,I want to be able to match component to components for optimal sound...I mean I dont what my larger amp to run tiny speakers for fills when I canuse the smaller wattage amp for that since the gains are going to be min., anyway...ya see. So the statements about waht amps are hooked to which speakers for now is in flux...
I may have the two channel running fillls one day then chage it out and run the four channel bridged. etc
I promised myself since this is not a high end system no more than a few hundred..WEll my friends that was Several hundred dollars and many Moons ago...Deep sigh

I have a:

Alpine CDA-7876 HU but would like to replace it with a 7897 or 7998
Front Preout is split and y adapted cause Im using two frontal stages. One for mids/ twwets for imaging since my placement is SO bad. and adapt is for the 5.1 Dolby for the rest of system and frontal Midbass. since it 5.1 Im bypassing the xovr sys, and eqts

the one Split is bypassing the PXA and going straight to the Line Driver xovr system and into the EQTs and the other is going to the input of the PXA but first this is how the frontal stage is set:

Alpine PXA 5.1 digital Dolby Pro-logic processor, out of that (which is set
*0* on all settings flat at this moment) it goes into the....(Front output of the PXA is Bypassing Line driver and going straight to the Midbass amp

So before I confuse the hell out of you or me for that matter I will expain and you can email me and let me know if this setup will be functionble for SQ
After it splits from HU the RCA signal it goes into the...setting number 1....
the
Coustic Line Driver...

Coustic 3-way Active Xover
and then into the...

Coustic Balance Line Receiver (BLR), then out of the output of that to

2 Audio Control 30 band 1/3 octave competition EQTs which were set with a RTA at

Car Auido Radio Stereo, in Sacramento. this outout from the LBR gets yadapter so the EQTs can be used for the four full channels (bridged) for the front imaging speakers, my 177a speaker passive crossovers, I noticed that they dont get louder but do get a lot more clarity when I plug the two eqts into all four channel

I have the amps bridged and wired for speakers ...as one output into the Woofer IN of PASSxover but then I left the JUMPER in so I can run Woofer out and Tweet OUT...so I can run with out jumper 1 channel to tweet and one to woofer on each passive xover.
and that is all the First Split PReout of HU is going to funstion for...the Secondary Split is for the PXA 5.1

Alpine v12 307 channel amp bridged running the 8" midbass in doors. utilizing the split of the HU preout tp PXa. The Front Output of PXa is used for this.

then

Alpine v12 407 channel amp...
(after setting the Jumpers in 177A speaker Croosover for optimum staging) the Amp and speakers off the 4 channel through EQTs is set 1 ch. left mid, 2 ch. right mid, 3 ch. left tweet, 4. ch right tweet. which weve discussed previously

Alpine v12 501 channel amp for fills that bypasses the LD, xover, and BLR, is out of the REAR output of PXA

Alpine v12 300 center channel for utilization of the DTS off the CC of PXA

Alpine v12 1507 for subs. MONO switch off Subs Output of PXA

Rockford Fosgate XCLs,
the midbass subs in door are 8" and...

Pioneer TS-203F free air application. I was considering the 8". Rockford Fosgate HP2 or XLC but I cannot enclose door to get the air space needed for RF designs.

I am Contemplating running this System straight off the Alt. instead of Battery which is only a concept...but heck its a small amperage alt so time for a big one soon

Optima Red Top..This system runs Primary through a 0 ga. battery cable by...

Lighting Audio to a

Lightning Audio fuse link under hood to

2 Stinger HPM 1 farad Caps. linked with a..

Monster 150a wafer..from that into and through 3 different Fuse Distribution blocks which are a 4 fuse...

Lighting Audio and bridged to another

Lighting Audio 4 fuse block and a

Lighting Audio 2 fuse block...

the 4 fuse block is just for the 4 amps while the 2 fuse was replaced with another 4 fuse for the HU, CROSSOVER Network, and PXA..then the 2 fuse is for the two EQTS...

there are plans for an ISO and Regulator for mutibatt set up, either r/f of L/audio.. and I am going to re-locate the Air tube resonator box on driver side of engine compartment and place the other...

Optima battery there (hopefully yellow top by then).

Im using two
EFX 8in 4out dist block for grounding all the units to one common to limit ground loop.

Somewhere I hear that I can get a 300zx alt to work and boost out more amps needed.

I have the help off the alt with my Stinger HPM caps so maybe that will help for now...I am over 2000 Peak but only about 1200 RMS.

other applicatation of install are Monstercabling, Lighting Audioproducts, and wiring. Rockford Fosgatecabling RCAs and wiring. various Stinger HPM products.

showing an older install now removed and Re-wired for 3 different fuse holders
the following are some pictures that are about 6 months or more old

Will update as soon as I get the use of the Digicam again

And finally ...NOt!!! well anyway as you see I have the 175a in this pic. they are not in that location anymore those are now gone and its the SPX-177A..oh yes, and big hole with spacer? that was for the 8" the 6.5 is there and the Free air is in the stock with Spacers I made from 1/2"MDF

harbinger's 1996 Nissan Pickup

So those were really these are OLD pictures about 5 months...hahaha, there will be changes I just dont know how to get rid of the thumbnails yet to the sidebar..unless I RESET? ooops Well i gotta do this all over.

this is all done only after buying and replacing many a amp and speakers under many a moon.

I know I have forgotten a lot to put in but I will update later. thanks for letting me bend your ear. this may be the only project Ive started and completed on my own. Ive started a lot..its completing them that gives me the problem.

You crazy audiophile!!! WOW! You are obviously an expert in the field. Me? I am into biodiesel for the moment. We got 2 veggie oil vehicles getting 50MPG and making the fuel in our backyard from spent restaurant cooking oil. Big perk- no need to kill innocent people overseas and steal their shit plus less emissions and better for then engine. Check out the book "From the Fryer to the Fueltank".. Catch ya later Izzy...
