I never did get the red truck ...I was ripped off for over 3000.00 by this person selling it to several people at one time.  this was years ago and i gues sit has never gone to trial and now beyond the statute of limitations. But I have my new ride I have new images of this old school fj40 but its now where near the quality of the red one I wanted.  its better.  Im not afriad to mess it up offroad as I would the red one I wanted.

on Aug 2004 and my truck was stolen on the 3rd but actually recovered on the 16th..of course missing EVERYTHING...what they couldnt steal or break off they destoyed.....I am going to get almost nothing because I did not add a adendum to my ins policy I found out.....and I just put new tires on and had the motor worked on..OUCH I am sad....I wanted a Toyota to mess with but truck was recovered so I got 500.00 for personal effects...Im sorry who wins when we pay for insurance? I know I know...

Sorry about the No updates for a while..I got screwed with Ins..Im starting over with the truck for now. I was going to redo with maybe Diamond Audio Comps and Phoenix GOLD we will see. for now it offroad time again, but I did want to show a semi complete Imaging setup for my system..this system has been rta'd by Auto Home Stereo in Sacremento ca its got clean sounds but the imaging sucks really due to placement of the speakers..if not for the time phase delay for the DSP I wouldnt really be able to set anything up...in picture here you cant see but there are the 5 alpine amps and the 12 Speakers: comps, 10's for bass, 12' for inadible subsonics, 8's for mids, and rear fills, and center channel under dash

as of 2002 I have had no update I guess
I have to get a new set of 33;'s since mine are now shot from Offroading...my timing chain is shot too...so Stereo is put on hold indefinately..or until I win the lotto.
Basically the System RUNS great if not too ghetto.

The Mid Bass in doors I found run great at 120hz and the imaging at 160
the rear fills at 90-120 and the subs at 45.

I have not used the 5.1 PXa from splitting into the Xover to it cuase Im just not up for fine tuning ...I just wanted my sounds...

Doors where sprayed with 3m undercoating about 6 times to dry and that did get rid of some internal rattlers but not all...the cable for lock running through a tube and the window track still rattled.....

I did not get the KEG but I did gwet the Monitor,. and I cut into the ac duct behind the stereo for the center channel speaker...and the monitor weas a little harder to install into that center ac than I thought...but the DVD player fit perfect into the bottom empty change holder under stock stereo placement...

Im gettin UCA and AAL for the truck...soon...I guess I need more vote to see if I drop 1400.00 on the Monitor to fihish system....see ya later tll I update

1st Im going to USE MDf and cutouts so the units "sink" in on front of sub box sit flush and the wiring is going to look like a schematic of a computer layout..if I dont have to use too much wire. (cause I dont want too much resistance in Wire length)

Well....This is Loosechange Lots and Lots of it....I stopped doing the Supension mods till I get enough cash for Rims with 3-3/4 Backspace and 33" tires....need UCA and AAL to finish lift. I have the Sway a Ways the Ext, Shackles, the PRocomp shocks (not a lift I know) and the other thing needed for some offroad fun...will tell ya on another page. for now.

I have an extended cab 4x4 and I have seen NISSAN trucks with Nice Kickpanel, unfortunately I have Big Fenderwells for Front tire Off-roading articualtion and unless I want to get out the Aircutter or Sawzaw and do some fender mods to extend speaker box into fenderwell. I have to be satisfied with Door Speakers and that bites, but that for another page

I did get the best *I* could afford at the time..Im a big fan of Alpine not becuase they are big name dollars but because I have NEVER had one go out on me except when I burned the Audio IC in my HU by Floating a ground through an amp...Ooops. SURE I wouldnt mid getting a Focal or Image Dynamics or PG or MB...but I got Alpine to complete the Alpine Setup...

Im trying to stay with 12-24 adjustment but really have no clue how to balance out built in Crossovers on Amps yet..

I have Placed the Line Driver, 3-way Xover, and Line Balance Receiver in the Center arm rest area, I pulled out the Consule for it for now...Im moving the Line driver closer to HU and the Line Bal.Rec. under pass. seat and the PXa off the SUb Box to under Front dr. Seat

Later in the posts, as you see, I not only have my Imaging Mids and tweets in Doors..with Dynamat behind them to get the Best Image I could (no picturs of that dyna-install)...I have a Spot for the 8" Free air Subs to complete the stage (running at 90-100hz)

I really need KP work for excellent staging...I have the MIDs hitting me in the KNEE and the Pass side gets blocked when someone sits there.
Maybe I will just only play the Stereo with the Doors open and the midglass back window open... :-)
