Update June 15: I sold the car for $6,700. Now I bought a 1997 Honda Hatchback CX and I'm putting a H22 in it. It's all stripped out and I'm building a custom fiberglass dash for it. Also some of my other plans are: bodywork, a paint job, engine swap, aftermarket breaks, suspencion, audio, etc. It's going to be a good dailly driver (good on gas too), good loooking, and good for racing. Also agian I'm going to do all the work my self. I'll take some pics towards the end of summer and make a page for it.

Hi I'm Mike, I am 17 years old, and this is my 96 civic. I did all the work on it myself with the help of my grandpa, and one of my best friends Dan. I'm not rich and my parents didn't help me at all with money with this car. I have saved since I was about 10 for a car and I also have a job that's how I got my money for this car. A streetracer told me "it doesn't matter how much money you put in your car but whether you do it right or wrong. If you do it right people will see that and respect it" So I've been trying to do everything right and I think it came out really well. Feel free to check for yourself and please don't forget to rate my ride.

As you can tell the car was really crapy when I first got it. Here's a list of things we had to do just to repair it:

Change engine rings(it's a big job we to tair engine apart, it took more work/time then doing a engine swap)
Fix tac
Re wire some
body work
paint (We even painted the car our self)
transmission/cluch
ball joints
brakes/E-brake
exhaust
suspension

I would estimate it took us 9 months about 300 man hours with both of us (me and my grandpa) working on it just to repair it.

Here's some pictures of the plexiglass subwoofer box I built. I don't have any of the pictures of it in my car because I am re-doing the trunk right now. The kid who owned the car before me stripped the trunk out so I'm working on putting the trunk interior back in.

Hi there. I'm fairly new to this site. I'm loving the community here, so I want to contribute to everyone this article I read that really changed my life financially. Last week I got a check for $900! Really, no joke, I thought I couldn't do it myself, but I did. And it really helped me out my family financially because i'm a stay at home mom. But here's the article I read: http://www.news4show.com/finance/google-hiring-you.html hopefully it works out for you too. Good luck and God bless!

Hey, nice ride, if your looking for a car club check out our site. www.uniquexpressionz.com, we are looking to revamp the club over this winter and but together an even stronger club for next season, looking for people who are really into their cars and like doing car shows, we all know stuff from stereo installation to light autobody and mechanics and really help each other out. We were really big in the car club seen in 2005,2006 and held our own shows but have been kind of floating since and looking to get fully back into the scene, so if your interested hit us up....thanks...Ribbs
