This is my 89 crx hf. My oldest brother and I are the only owners of this car and im proud to still have it. The car has maintained stock trim intill 2002.
Stock 65hp 8valve motor
In 2002 I had alot of work done with major improvements. At 280,000 miles I took the stock d15b2 out of the car as well as the gas saving hf tranny and swapped in a d16a6 with a si tranny. After driving with the hf trans I found out how much I hate long gears. Considering this I took the si trans kept the final drive but swapped in jdm zc gears with a obx helical lsd. I ran this setup intill 2005.
At this time I was doing a paper route in the car. 200 miles every night on dirt roads. So I put some spings on the car from a 4dr integra also I was running 195/65/15 all terrain tires for a small pickup. In case your wondering why the car is so high.
2006 Crx meet !!
The car has been retired from the paper route now sitting at almost 400,000 miles and on my second Si motor. Kyb agx struts are installed paired up with eibach sportline springs. I also did a mini me swap with a d16z6 head running obd 0 though on a switch and this is what happened.
In 07 I ran my 3rd d16a6 this time with a junkyard turbo setup costed me next to nothing. I ran a extra injector controller and the car made 170hp on 8 psi. I managed a 14.9 on the 1/4 with streets at 6000ft alt. Finally at the end of 07 the oil pump gave seasing the turbo and pratically destroying the whole motor it looked like the pic above but a lil worse.

2008 I just got the car up and running and this time Im doing things right. Currently the crx has a 30,000 mile jdm d15b sohc vtec swapped to obd1 running a p28 ecu with a s300 hondata tuned by Mad Mike at hatch's. I still have all my tranny goodies but this time with zc axles and intermediat shaft. As for the motor , moroso Dizzy and oil pan with new sump , crower stage 2 cam valves retainers and springs , Obx race intake mani with port matched 66mm accord throttle body , Surewin Headers 2.5 inch all the way back to a turbo muffler "no cat no resin" , Ngk 10.2mm wires with ngk plugs , UR single belt pulley , obx underdrive alt pulley , 8lb fidenza flywheel /w stage 1 exedy clutch , and thats about all thats changed =D. On the dyno It hit 170whp which is way more then I expected. I only have one problem now and according to the graph I make power all the way to 8200rpm but my tach only shows 7500 =( damn hf. Ill be seeing what a 50shot will get me soon.
As for the outside Same rims new tint with toyo proxes 4's 225/50/15 on 15x7 oldschools.
