With the All Terrains running low on tread after 2 years of faithful service, I decided it was time to retire them in favor of a more aggressive tire.
Did I forget to mention larger also?
36 x 15.50 Mickey Thompson MTZ's
I was also tired of polishing my rims, so I stepped up to chrome.
18 x 10 Mazzi Hulks
Now the fun part starts. I purchased a Full Throttle Suspension 6.5" kit for my truck, and once I got it, I started to tear the truck down in my driveway. After cutting parts of the frame required to get the rear crossmember in place, I attempted to test fit the crossmember, only to find out that it would not fit, neither would the front crossmember. After calling FTS, it seems I was sent an 2500HD kit by mistake. Well I boxed up the kit and sent it back to them. FTS still hasnt sent me the right kit, nor have they refunded me my $1800. I am currently trying to get my money back via the credit card company since the criminals at FTS have no intentions of doing so. It has been almost 6 months since they got their kit back and they still haven't refunded my my money.
Back on track. After my truck sat undrivable for two monthes I finally bought a ProComp kit with money I had planned on using to regear the differentials. In my opinion the ProComp kit is a much better design than the one used by FTS, and ProComp actually has customer service.
Front finished. Only the rear left.
All done.
